The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives you a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.

The PSAT will be administered in October of every year at the high school. All Juniors and Sophomores will be required to take the PSAT. Also, Freshmen will be required to take the PSAT 8/9. The school will cover the cost of the test for students. Mrs. Albert will meet with 9th, 10th and 11th graders in late September to provide information on the PSAT and PSAT 8/9.
